Mashel is responsible for vetting and onboarding today’s best and brightest founders into Skylark’s Accelerator and Portfolio.

As a multi-decade entrepreneur, she brings a wealth of experience in business development, customer relationship problem-solving, and growth solutions. Known for her ability to work with diverse companies and their founders, she helps them get the most out of the exceptional relationships created within Skylark Ventures.

In her latest venture, Mashel successfully owned and operated a bridal store in Pittsburgh for 10 years before exiting that company in Q1 2024. Prior to that, she owned and operated a children’s clothing store, gaining invaluable insights into customer needs and the art of building strong, lasting relationships. She also spent 14 years in real estate, working as a Realtor and owning a Virtual Assistant company while holding a license in three states.

Beyond her professional achievements, Mashel is a devoted mother of a big, beautiful blended family. She and her husband, Craig, have been happily married for 20 years and reside in Pittsburgh, PA, when they’re not visiting family or traveling. They have six children together and two grandsons.
